Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026 · [email protected]
The short version
My Run Progress does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Your workouts, health metrics, and usage stay entirely on your device. No account is required. No data is sent to our servers — because we do not operate any servers that handle your personal information.
What the app reads
The app requests read access to Apple Health (HealthKit) to display your workout history, distances, heart rate, and related metrics. This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, shared, or analyzed outside of your iPhone.
The app may also write back to Apple Health when you use the Rewrite Activity feature (optional). All writes go directly to Apple Health on your device.
Garmin import (optional)
If you choose to import workouts from Garmin, the app initiates an OAuth sign-in through Garmin's own authentication flow. The resulting access token is stored locally on your device only. Garmin workout data is fetched directly to your device and written into Apple Health. We do not receive, proxy, or retain your Garmin credentials or workout data on any server.
Garmin's own Privacy Policy governs how Garmin handles your data on their side.
Analytics and crash reporting
The app does not include any analytics SDK, crash reporter, or usage-tracking library that transmits data to us or any third party.
Advertising
The app contains no advertising and does not use advertising identifiers.
This website
This website (runprogress.app) is a static page. It does not set cookies, run analytics scripts, or collect any information about visitors.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app's release notes.
